The University Emblem captures the principles that are considered foundational for building of a successful life. The major themes are as follows:

The Torch: The torch symbolized our duty to humanity – to share with them the light we have. We are the light of the world to lead others to God (Matthew 5:16).

The Bible: The Bible is accepted as God’s inspired word and is useful for teacher, correcting, training, and equipping people for good works (2 Timothy 3:16). The Bible serves as a constant guide for our feet and a light for our path (Psalm 119:105).

The Sprigs: The sprig is a symbol of hope and peace (Genesis 8:11). The green foliage also represents prosperity and healing of the nations (Revelation 22:2).

Amor Vincit Omnia: In Latin it means, “Love conquers All”. The Bible teaches us that God is love (I John 4:8). The Ten Commandments are founded upon the principle of love to God and love to our fellow human beings. Christ admonished His followers to love not only one’s friends but also one’s enemies (Matthew 5:43:44).

He Shall Teach You All Things (John 14:26): God is the beginning of all true wisdom (Proverbs 1:7). As our Creator, Sustainer, and Redeemer, He is the source of all knowledge. The Holy Spirit which God the Fther sends in Christ’s name, is the Agent of all true and enduring learning and wisdom (John 6:13). And ye shall know the truth and the truth will set you free (John 8:32).
